Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Manage guest payments, including processing room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Assist staff with expediting problem payments and follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
  • Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations.
  • Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
