Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with expediting problem payments, follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues, and process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
  • Payment Processing: Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit, and set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in.
  • Room Management: Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations, block rooms in the computer, and identify designated requirements and requests.
  • Communication: Contact appropriate individuals or departments as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems, and coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Administrative Tasks: Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks, count bank at the beginning and end of shift, and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or front desk role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
