About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Sales Development Manager to join our team at Canonical. As a Tech Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of 2-10 SDRs/BDRs to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align on sales strategies and goals
  • Use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching and training to SDRs to improve their sales skills and performance
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
Requirements
  • Excellent academic results at school and university
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business or STEM
  • Knowledge and passion for business development, sales, and technology
  • Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement - curious, flexible, scientific
  • Creative problem solving and cross-team collaboration
  • Leadership experience of one form or another
