About the Role

This critical position will work closely with the AWS Leadership Team, Marketing, PR, AR, and other cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and develop strategies to enhance internal and external communications within AWS LATAM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage content strategies for designated business units, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define key themes, messages, and channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across various businesses and geographies.
  • Translate complex business topics into engaging communications content and strategies that drive employee engagement within AWS.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations.
  • At least 7 years of executive or internal communications experience, preferably at a high-growth technology company.
  • Knowledge and experience managing comms campaigns on digital platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Experience managing global stakeholders and navigating unique cultural conditions.
  • Strong leadership skills and an innate desire to learn and be curious.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Mexico City, DIF, MEX.

Preferred Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for exceptional individuals who possess:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • End-to-end event planning and execution experience, with a high level of attention to detail and time management.
  • Demonstrated experience developing executive-level communications in various formats (e.g., blogs, executive presentations, whitepapers).
  • Experience leading communications within sales or marketing organizations.
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
