About the Role

The Business Development Executive role is a critical component of Machinio's growth strategy. If you have a passion for tech sales, thrive in a competitive environment, and want to make a meaningful impact, this role may be an excellent opportunity for you.

Machinio is a leading platform connecting buyers with sellers from various segments of the equipment industry, innovating a $400 BILLION dollar industry. As a Business Development Executive, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with limitless growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, business owners, and C-level executives across North America.
  • Acquire customers and generate revenue for Machinio's core product.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to improve aspects applicable to your role and the company's overall growth.
Requirements
  • Ability to establish relationships from scratch.
  • Fast learning capabilities.
  • Confidence in carrying and maintaining sales quotas.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Consultative approach with problem-solving skills.

Compensation
  • Base salary and generous commission structure (first-year on-target earnings of $70k-$100k, with opportunities for growth).

  • Phone interview with the Director of Operations.
  • Google Meets video interview with Team Leads.
  • Final interview with Senior Director of Revenue.
