Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager for Fortinet Solutions at Westcon Mexico, S.A. de C.V., you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with assigned vendors to achieve exceptional financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement vendor business plans across the TD SYNNEX organization, leveraging vendor strengths and resources to drive success.
- Communicate supplier strategies and benefits to internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment.
- Manage incremental funding proposals at the vendor level, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Align vendor goals with TD SYNNEX objectives, fostering mutual success and positive results.
- Determine, monitor, and recommend plans for the vendor (Fortinet) and TD SYNNEX business relationship on both tactical and strategic levels.
- Implement business development strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned vendors' technology and programs, providing valuable insights and guidance.
- Manage activities and programs that drive vendor pro-forma performance, aiming to achieve TD SYNNEX's financial goals.
- Analyze and report on various program impacts for the vendor.
- Manage forecasting pipeline requirements and rebate projections.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- One to three years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- Commercial experience with Fortinet technology.
- A thorough understanding and comprehension of security solutions and services, preferably related to Fortinet.
This role is suitable for individuals who are competent in all job functions and have a general understanding of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
- Develops solutions to a variety of problems and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis.
- May refer to policies, practices, and precedents for guidance but determines the best course of action to achieve results.
- Work is performed independently, requiring judgment and discretion.
- May receive some limited guidance for new assignments, with work reviewed for overall adequacy.
- Interacts with management and professionals within the department and other parts of the organization, potentially representing the department externally on projects or with clients.
