Technical Pre-Sales Expert

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Technical Pre-Sales Expert to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and domain knowledge to our customers, helping them to understand and implement our D1 offer as part of our Modern Card Issuance Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and design technical solutions using Thales platforms.
  • Present to customers on the use of our Cards Payments and Issuance Services, including Onboarding, configuration & solution design, and architecture.
  • Develop and deliver Thales Modern Card Issuance product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
  • Conduct technical assessments of customer IT architecture and environments to identify potential integration points and customization requirements.
  • Support Sales Executives during meetings with customer technical teams to present our APIs, Flows, product configurations, services, interfaces, etc.
  • Develop proof of concept applications built on top of D1, present technical demonstrations, and help Thales customers make the most of their integration.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or another technical relevant field of study; or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent English with effective communication skills.
  • Strong technical background in Payments and Card Issuance Services, including APIs, payment gateways, and merchant services.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, conducting product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
