Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager, Advertiser Services will serve as a key service provider to Sony Pictures' 3rd Party advertising sales partner, Discovery Communications in the assigned territory, as well as Sony Owned and Operated Sales offices for LATAM. This role will lead discussions directly driving revenue-generating opportunities in the Market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 80% Ad Sales Office Strategy and Revenue Generation: Develop sales packages, proposed pricing, negotiate with 3rd party partners for potential revenue-generating opportunities, actively participate in sales negotiations and process, and ensure closed deals are executed properly.
  • 20% Channel Activity Understanding and Promotion: Stay current with what is happening with Sony Pictures' properties, across a broad range covering content to operations and everything in between. Maintain a high level of competency on the tools required to be effective in the role and understand all relevant processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in specialty entertainment sales, with 5+ years of managerial experience.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively listen, identify issues, find solutions, and communicate to constituents.
  • Comfortable interacting as part of a team and interfacing with Senior Level Management.
  • Organizational and analytical skills.

Preferred Education:

  • BA or BS degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, or related area.

Knowledge:

  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Pay TV, Digital, and Advertising Marketplace.
