Job Overview

The LEGO Group is a leading manufacturer of toys, headquartered in Billund, Denmark. We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Specialist to join our team in Mexico.

About the Role

This role is based at our manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL, and is not a remote position. As an IT Service Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our manufacturing environment, ensuring that our IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Provide advice and solutions to complex IT incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to our operations.
  • Process Implementation: Effectively engage with Digital Technology product teams to implement required processes, technology, and solutions on-site.
  • Compliance and Governance: Proactively ensure IT Policies and Principles are being followed on-site, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technology Adoption: Actively improve, utilize, train, and promote new technologies implemented in the organization, driving digital transformation and innovation.
  • Infrastructure Management: Install and configure hardware, computer systems, and applications within the company, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Vendor Management: Engage with vendors as it relates to the IT area, negotiating contracts and managing relationships to secure the best possible services.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Technical Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field providing technical support to manufacturing environments, with a strong background in ITSM and IT infrastructure concepts.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, with a focus on technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to properly communicate in English, both written and spoken, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Expertise: Expertise on one or more specific IT technical areas such as Active Directory, Microsoft Server environment, Networking, ITIL, or automation, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Data Analysis: Data analytics and presentation document skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Service-Oriented Mindset: An outstanding service-oriented mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Cultural Competence: Open communication and international collaboration, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: General understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems, PLCs, and similar components, with experience working in a manufacturing environment.
