Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead our channel growth initiatives in Mexico. This role will be responsible for driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and developing business plans that align with our company's goals.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team at Westcon Mexico, S.A. de C.V. as a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, sales leadership, and team management.
Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 MXN, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing business plans that drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
- Buidling and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, vendors, and customers
- Identifying new business opportunities and closing deals through effective sales strategies
- Leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and improve performance
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to inform business decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales leadership or business development
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Commercial, or Business Development from a reputable institution
- Commercial awareness, customer focus, excellent communication skills, initiative, interpersonal skills, influencing sales teams, building structured sales activity, high energy, self-management, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Knowledge of CISCO's product and technology portfolio and IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, and Competition
