Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team at Hewlett Packard. As a key member of our North America Direct Customer Operations team, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer disputes in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, including inventory analysis and planning, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations.
  • Resolve complex operational issues that may arise from the end-to-end sales process, including order status, dispute payment, invoice upload to customer portals, returns, and deliveries.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop recommendations to enhance our business processes.
  • Drive open dispute backlog management and coordinate or lead regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance our current business processes.
  • Review performance metrics on a regular basis and provide narrative and inputs as requested to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to priority projects with complex analyses and assist in developing recommendations.
  • Communicate requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams and mentor junior-level staff.
  • Coordinate, develop, and manage a Regulatory Trade Compliance program.
Requirements
  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
  • Typically 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function.
  • Broker's license and/or 4-6 years of experience in a customs/global trade function.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
  • Knowledge of S4-SAP, web invoicing, dispute management, collections, Order To Cash processes.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable or Collections.
  • Knowledge of vendor portals (Ariba, Coupa, etc).
  • Knowledge of financials tied to supply chain operations (invoices, credits, returns).
  • Very strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Very strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Proven relationship management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of HP's overall supply chain strategy.
  • Extensive understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Available to Promise (ATP) and master scheduling.
  • Good understanding of national and international trade requirements to align customs/trade function with business objectives.
Leadership Skills
  • Developed leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management.
