Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative - Inside Sales Expert at Wesco, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales of our products and services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Suggest related items to customers, explaining features and checking their buying history to increase orders.
• Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Identify ways to continuously improve processes and contribute to the company's growth.
• Prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine the reason for loss of order.
• Review open customer order reports and take action on open items, including those at risk of missing customer delivery dates.
• Maintain distribution system backorder reports, associated customer expediting reports, and notices, as well as customer notifications.
• Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
**Requirements:**
• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors' degree preferred.
• Requires knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration, with a focus on acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form, with attention to detail.
• Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts.
• Take action and solve a range of problems that may be difficult but not typically complex.
• Identify and define problems and possible solutions independently, choosing among existing solutions.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision and travel up to 25%.
