**Job Summary**
At Td Synnex, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Director to lead our sales team in managing the sale of our products or services to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Value Added Reseller (VAR) accounts on a national or geographic basis.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute annual business plans in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Assign quarterly sales goals by territory and manage the forecast and pipeline of the team.
- Communicate job responsibilities to staff via measurable business objectives (MBOs).
- Develop quarterly plans with outside sales for territory development and present quarterly business plans at the team level.
- Manage 100% attainment of Sales, Gross Profit ($), Gross Profit (%) and corporate special goals.
- Maintain excellent customer and vendor relationships.
- Interface with departmental Directors to ensure cross-corporate teamwork.
- Oversee strategic projects for division growth.
- Provide sales with the tools needed, such as sales reports, credit utilization, descending reports, new customer reports, leads, and customer focuses, and the process to utilize them.
- Develop motivational strategies and TD monthly/quarterly sales promotions.
- Continuously work with Product Managers and Vendors for sales promotions.
- Oversee Employee Development activities, including quarterly one-on-one feedback meetings with all employees, quarterly service observations, and reward and recognition programs for top employees.
- Set up meetings with support departments and hold sales and staff meetings to improve communication within the department.
- Respond to escalated customer issues to ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Maintain strategic vendor relationships.
- Address escalated personnel issues prior to HR involvement and ensure timely resolution of employee issues and consistent actions across regions.
