Business Development Intern

At Gm Financial, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Intern to support our Mexico & Peru Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, reporting, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
The Business Development Intern role is an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in project management, business development, and operations. As a key member of the PMO team, you will assist in producing metrics and project dashboards that consolidate all MX & PE projects, enhancing monitoring and status visibility.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for administering project documents on Project Place and updating PMO materials to ensure information is up-to-date. You will also aid in populating intake requests for new projects and provide administrative support in carrying out those new requests for approval in the PMO Committee.
Additionally, you will review risk, issues, and mitigation plans with Business Project Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:- Time Availability: 4-5 hours daily.
- Graduation Date: 1 year (or more) away from graduation.
- Active Student: Bachelor's degree related to Business or Administration fields.
- Skills:
- Ability to manage reporting.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and organization skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Project.
- Oral and written proficiency in Spanish and English.
We offer a competitive $15.00 - $20.00 per hour salary and benefits, including Extended Maternity & Paternity Leaves, Personal Days & Community Investment hours.
