Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team at FedEx Express Lac. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling packages, and ensuring timely delivery.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, answering their queries and resolving any issues related to package delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, checking packages for labeling and content compliance, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with packages, answer questions about FedEx products and services, and provide over-the-counter and phone service.
  • Package Handling: Handle customers with packages in the cage, check packages for proper labeling, legality of content, and compliance with customs documentation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and audit records and files, including tracking packages and updating customer information.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general office skills, including typing, filing, and computer literacy, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
Requirements
  • Education: High School degree or equivalent.
  • Languages: Spoken and written fluency in English.
  • Experience: One year of previous clerical or customer service experience.
