**POSITION OVERVIEW**
To expand H.B. Fuller’s market share within the defined territory through the closure of business within new accounts, development of new business with existing accounts, and retention of current business by utilizing a disciplined sales process.
**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Maintain territory revenues and profit margins in line with Company budgets and expectations.
- Responsible for Key Strategic Accounts in packaging and paper industries.
- Develop and maintain detailed customer plans with existing and prospective key accounts that are critical to achieve territory revenue and profit margin goals.
- Integrate formal data driven sales processes to manage and develop customer relationships, i.e., Strategic Selling, SFDC, Customer Needs Mapping, etc.
- Understand the customers’ business environment and develop appropriate tactics to support achievement of business strategic objectives and growth goals.
- Develop and present value statements or sales propositions to the customer that respond to identify customer needs on factors other than price.
- Maintain up to date pricing files for all customers within the defined territory.
- Provide market intelligence on competitor activities, products, and prices.
- Provide forecasts on short or long-term customer buying shifts to assist in the preparation of forward manufacturing plans.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- 3-4 years industry sales experience (adhesives, packaging, paper converting is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree (in chemical engineering or similar is preferred)
- English written and spoken.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability (read and analyze sales data).
- Valid driver license
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- An effective self-manager.
