Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Sales and Marketing Leader to join our team at Grand Hyatt Playa Del Carmen. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and developing strategic marketing initiatives.

Sales and Revenue Growth

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our sales efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue and achieve business objectives. This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed business targets.
  • Collaborate with the Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments to identify opportunities for synergy and maximize sales potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform sales and marketing strategies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Director of Sales or Associate Director of Sales, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and developing strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
