The Customer Account Services Representative role serves as the primary contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong business relationships. This role interfaces with other departments to meet and exceed overall service goals for each customer and the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of account services to customers, including order fulfillment, inventory management, supply chain consolidation, and logistics services.
- Contribute to the full customer experience by directly addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Work closely with other functional team members to support customers and drive customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer complaints and issues, escalating as necessary.
- Proactively communicate updates, issues, and changes to customers.
- Report on customer satisfaction and quality metrics to management.
- Manage customer delivery and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support sales forecasts by managing month and quarter-end customer orders and shipments.
- Identify and report customer complaints, managing the complaint process.
- Use flexibility and creativity to address customer needs and concerns.
Requirements
- College degree in business administration or industrial engineering (preferred).
- 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) and solid command of the English language, written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of ORACLE and ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of production planning and materials planning principles.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Customer orientation and ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
