**The Role of Director of Sales**
We are seeking an exceptional sales leader to join our team as Director of Sales. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of our Sales function. Reporting directly to our CEO, you will be responsible for defining and implementing sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and expansion. You will lead our revenue generation efforts, accelerate our growth, and fine-tune our sales process to achieve our goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and launching a brand-aligned go-to-market strategy in collaboration with our Executive team
- Partnering with our Sales Enablement team to develop effective processes for capitalizing on leads from a wide range of clients, including B2B SaaS, ecommerce, health and wellness groups, and more
- Establishing a premium brand-aligned outbound practice (ABM, paid media, and thoughtful outreach) to increase the number of leads and explore strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that can enhance revenue opportunities and market reach
**Team Development & Sales Enablement**
You will also be responsible for:
- Hiring and developing your team, building and executing against your defined hiring plan, while continuously developing new and existing team members' sales skills
- Motivating your team, acting as a coach focusing on each individual's unique professional growth opportunities and skills, maximizing their potential
- Refining the playbooks and sales motions needed to understand client needs and demonstrate value
**Requirements**
The successful candidate will possess:
- 4+ years of direct experience in sales and 5+ years of leading teams
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Effective 'zooming in and out', comfortable working both strategically and tactically
- Deep knowledge and playbooks for client acquisition, retention, and expansion
- Direct experience developing and executing distinct sales motions for enterprise and SMB, and/or MM
- A track record of increasing ARR year after year
- The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment
**Salary Estimate**
We offer a highly competitive salary estimate of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a bonus structure tied to performance targets. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous PTO policy.
