Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Professional to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services;
  • Analyze and understand market insights and customers' buying behavior to make informed sales plans aligned with the business division strategy and targets;
  • Engage in active market participation, focusing on inside customer interactions, including some visits, to understand customer needs and deliver value through our products and services;
  • Develop technical and value quotes that reflect customers' needs, highlighting unique selling points, and follow up to ensure proposed value is understood and matches customers' requirements;
  • Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process, offering advanced technical assistance (including sizing and selection).
Responsibilities:
  • Registration of RFQs and preparation of quotes in the ERP system;
  • Sets and negotiates prices in accordance with policies and guidelines provided by the Sales Manager;
  • Quote follow-up and closure of orders;
  • Identify customers' commercial needs, based on historical sales and other factors, to secure our position, increase market share, and win new business;
  • Development of customer relationships and customer loyalty plans in alignment with Field Sales;
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining sales in alignment with Field Sales;
  • Improve/keep up-to-date information in our ERP and CRM systems.
Data-Driven Sales & Lead Management

Analyze sales, prepare regular statistics, and suggest strategies to improve our market position;

Analyze, select, and approach prospects using tools like Installed Base/CRM, and align with Field Sales and Sales Manager;

Identify new opportunities for external customers and share with Field Sales;

Provides input to the Sales Manager for pricing strategy based on data analysis from CRM and other internal tools/databases.

About You

We are looking for a professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in a similar position within the engineering industry or manufacturing field. Strong customer experience skills and proficiency in managing CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce are essential.

Candidates must be fluent in both Spanish and English languages, with B2B and B2C experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience, agility, and high-pressure work capabilities.

This is a hybrid employment opportunity located in Tlalnepantla, Edo Mex, Mexico. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. If you're a driven and results-oriented professional looking for a challenging role, please apply.
