About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our cutting-edge application support team. As a Technical Innovation Support Specialist, you will work on Thomson Reuters' impactful assets, collaborating with exceptional systems engineers, software developers, DevOps engineers, and technology managers.
In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to solve complex challenges, leveraging technology and people skills. You will have opportunities to learn and work on cloud, automation, AI/ML, troubleshooting, and knowledge creation skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- System Monitoring and Response: Monitor the health and performance of systems, applications, and infrastructure, and respond to incidents or issues promptly to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Automation: Develop and implement automation tools and processes to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.
- Incident Management: Investigate and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, share knowledge, and promote best practices within the team and across the organization.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure systems and processes comply with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement, implement changes, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
