Global Channel Development Associate

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Global Channel Development Associate.
**Job Summary:**
This role will focus on developing and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, driving business growth, and increasing customer satisfaction. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Support sales teams in meeting their monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by providing exceptional customer support and driving business growth.
2. Collaborate with field sales, distribution account managers, and direct marketing reseller (DMR) account managers to drive business and grow Eaton's channel presence.
3. Establish and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing and potential partners by effectively employing the highest level of skills, including knowledge of customers' businesses, organizations, and Eaton product lines and strategic plans.
4. Coordinate with marketing and sales to provide documentation for customers to access product information and solutions, and provide product and technical information to outside sales teams to support generation of sales into the utility segment.
5. Respond to field sales and customer channel inquiries regarding price, lead time, and selling policy in a manner consistent with established division profit, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives.
6. Collaborate with regional field sales, channel marketing, and top revenue-generating accounts to develop go-to-market business plans containing sales targets, marketing activities, customer engagement, and support models.
7. Engage and leverage Alliance partnerships with industry-leading affiliates (i.e., Cisco, NetApp, EMC, Nutanix) to increase partner engagement, promote solution selling, and drive specification at the end-customer level.
8. Act as a focal point for field and customers in dealing with functional departments, such as engineering, customer service, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, and demand planning.
9. Accurately process customer quotes and coordinate renewal of quotes as required, follow up on orders and quotations, and provide information and updates to customers and sales engineers.
10. Proactively contact partners following Deal Registration and sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints or objections.
11. Facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution.
12. Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering promotional sale items.
13. Lead project teams and serve as a team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and the team's performance.
14. Recruit and enable new partners within various channel segments to join the PowerAdvantage Partner program.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of one year of work experience in product support, customer service, inside sales, or proposal support
Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills
