Labor Relations Manager for Employee Engagement in Mexico

This position is a key member of the human resources team at Citi, responsible for implementing employee relations strategies to minimize the impact of individual grievances or collective labor disputes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement employee relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices.
- Represent the organization in contract negotiations with labor unions, promoting fair and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Liaise with managers, employees, and their representatives to investigate and resolve grievances, fostering a productive and harmonious work environment.
- Evaluate and interpret bargaining trends, regulations, and laws to understand their impact on the organization and develop effective strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including management, employees, unions, government agencies, and other organizations, to protect the organization's interests and promote positive employee relations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 6-10 years of experience in labor relations or a related field.
- A bachelor's degree; a master's degree is preferred.
- Advanced fluency in English.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor law in Mexico.
Citi offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
