Key Responsibilities:

The Billing Operations Associate will assist the Americas Billing team for designated sectors, providing essential support to a group of Customer Service Representatives, Logistics, Accounting, IT, Tax Team, Auditors, and Team Leads. Key activities will encompass:
- Generating billing documents for various sales organizations.
- Processing invoices in accordance with revenue recognition and Title Transfer regulations.
- Ensuring billing documents are accurately created and promptly recorded in accounting.
- Overseeing the distribution of invoices and tracking the effectiveness of outputs within SAP and other systems, if applicable.
- Addressing billing discrepancies and coordinating corrective measures with IT and CSR as necessary.
- Conducting post-billing tasks (billing cancellations).
- Managing, executing, and documenting Sarbanes-Oxley controls related to billing.
- Coordinating closing activities to adhere to established finance deadlines.
- Verifying that all billing documents comply with revenue recognition standards.
- Ensuring compliance with local billing regulations.
- Setting up and maintaining billing outputs.

Required Qualifications:

Essential:

- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or administrative/accounting roles.

- Proficient communication skills in both spoken and written English/Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience with SAP, particularly in the Order to Cash module.

- Familiarity with SAT for billing processes.
- Capability to foster relationships.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Competence in managing high-pressure situations.
- Positive demeanor and adaptability to change, including the ability to swiftly adjust priorities based on customer demands.
- Advanced time management skills and the ability to self-manage incoming requests and deadlines based on business and customer needs.
- Experience working in an international team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
