Overview


Fastenal is a leading distributor of industrial and construction supplies, with over 3,000 servicing locations worldwide. As a Business Development Representative - Sales Support, you will play a critical role in assisting our customers from our branch located at Apodaca, NL 66600.



About the Role


This is an entry-level position that requires a strong interest in sales and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will be responsible for providing assistance to our customers, managing inventory, placing and fulfilling orders, receiving and shipping inventory, and performing deliveries with a company vehicle.



Responsibilities



  • Assist with sales and customer service
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking
  • Place and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
  • Receive and ship inventory as needed
  • Perform deliveries using a company vehicle


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you must have:



  • A current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located
  • The ability to meet our driving record requirements
  • Possess or be working towards a degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Show a strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
  • Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
  • Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
