We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at Wesco. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing strong business relationships with existing accounts and prospects in the electrical and distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets;">
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING ACCOUNTS AND PROSPECTS IN THE ELECTRICAL AND DISTRIBUTION INDUSTRY;">
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation;">
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop solutions;">
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies;">
  • Provide regular updates on progress, successes, and challenges to management;">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred;">
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Sales and Sales Administration (4-5 years);">
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office;">
  • Demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor;">
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously;">
  • Ability to work in a team environment and mentor/coach team members;">
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills;">
  • Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts;">
  • Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and realistic understanding of issues;">
  • Preferred sales experience in electrical or distribution environment;">
  • Ability to travel 0% - 25%;">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
