**The Role of the Lead Account Executive**

The Lead Account Executive plays a vital role in acquiring, retaining, and growing net new customers, or expanding existing customers with low acquisition levels in their managed territory. As a successful sales professional, you will leverage your understanding of the payments marketplace and our comprehensive suite of solutions to develop and sell clients the solutions they need.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Prospect new clients and establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned merchant accounts.

• Work with a diverse range of client accounts, from small to large, to drive referrals and expand our solution portfolio.

• Collaborate with bankers and merchants to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategic partnerships.

• Follow up on negotiation processes and facilitate interactions with internal areas to maintain quality standards in service delivery.

• Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and position our solutions effectively in the market.

• Act as a representative of Global Payments' values, incorporating the highest ethical and quality standards in all interactions with clients and prospects.

• Continuously learn about the payments industry and our solutions to provide expert advice to clients.

• Monitor implementation projects and ensure timely and correct interactions with internal areas to meet customer expectations.

• Consistently meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
