Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a professional to fill the role of Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely entry of orders into the ERP system, monitoring EDI's and customer requirements, and communicating customer needs to all applicable stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter orders into the ERP system in a timely manner
  • Monitor EDI's and customer requirements on a regular basis
  • Communicate customer needs to all applicable stakeholders
  • Analyze and provide follow-up on customer requirements in the short and long term (12-week build plan)
  • Monitor customer orders (OEM/Service) daily
  • Hold customer calls as needed
  • Coordinate with shipping on a daily basis
  • Execute leader standard work
  • Support department metrics and other key performance indicators as assigned
  • Coordinate with Master Schedulers on critical production needs based on customer requirements
  • Attend training courses assigned by HR
  • Complete MMOG annual requirements and participate in OPA/MMA assessments
  • Perform activities according to the Quality and Environmental policies established by the business
  • Apply Safety and Environment principles and methodology to prevent accidents

Requirements:

  • Strong inventory control skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • 3 years of previous experience as a Customer Service or Master Scheduler
  • Knowledge of Oracle (preferred)
  • Strong decision-making abilities with internal and external customers
  • English proficiency of 90%

Continuous Improvement Competencies:

  • Intermediate level of CI Tools 5S, SW, BPS
  • Intermediate level of CI Tools VSM, TVSM
  • Intermediate level of CI Tools LMF

Environmental System Responsibility:

  • Separate hazardous waste from regular trash
  • Place hazardous waste in designated containers
  • Maintain a clean and contaminant-free work area
  • Conserve water and electricity
  • Report any activity that may pose a risk to safety and the environment
  • Properly dispose of chemical products that may contaminate the environment
  • Act immediately in the event of a chemical spill
  • Ensure proper storage of hazardous materials
