Job Summary

Sell FedEx products and services to existing and potential customers in a defined geographic territory, resulting in net incremental revenue.

About the Role

This position involves selling all FedEx products and services to an existing customer base in a defined geographic territory, with revenue-generating responsibility as defined by management. It also includes selling all FedEx products and services to non-FedEx customers within a defined geographic area, utilizing various sales tactics to continually add new customers in a revenue band defined by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a lead generation process using FedEx resources (Couriers, station employees, etc.) to ensure a steady flow of quality leads that result in incremental revenue.
  • Develop and maintain a territory intelligence system that records, stores, and reports all sales activities, account information, market place and industry information, and competitive information.
  • Handle and/or coordinate with station employees on all customer problem resolution activities and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Gather, prepare, and submit all sales-related reports to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of professional, commercial, or industrial sales experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize.
  • Strong human relations and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to make presentations to small and large groups.
  • Travel required.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Fluency in English.
