Customer Service Liaison

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Liaison to provide world-class customer care to both internal and external customers at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.
The successful candidate will engage in regional customer support activities, including accurate entry of orders, quotes, and RMA's, as well as creation and maintenance of special specifications. They will communicate with customers and reps on deliverables and resolve additional customer service issues with some work direction from supervisors and peers.
This role involves completing and passing required customer service certifications. The ideal candidate will use their judgment skills, prior experience, and company policies and procedures to resolve standard and in-region problems. Additionally, they will assist with customer feedback tracking and driving towards customer satisfaction.
In this position, you will be expected to understand, create, and simplify processes to meet our high standards. You may also be assigned other duties, such as office administration and other support tasks, dependent on the region or department.
**Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have at least 1 year of customer service experience, an Associate's degree or related business experience, and strong computer skills. You must also be able to learn concepts and technical details of products, possess strong writing, proofreading, documentation, and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Furthermore, you should be able to work cooperatively in a team environment and meet the following requirements: background check results satisfactory to SEL, negative drug test result(s), and the ability to write and speak English coherently.
**Preferred Qualifications:
A suitable candidate will have experience with ERP or CRM tools, a background in technical sales environments, bilingual abilities, or a Bachelor's degree. However, these qualifications are not mandatory.
**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
