About the Role:

As an Enterprise Sales Executive at Abnormal Security Corporation, you will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge security solutions to Enterprise-level clients. Your primary goal will be to exceed annual recurring revenue quota by identifying and closing new business opportunities within your defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and build pipeline through a balanced approach of five sources: AE Sourced, Marketing, BDR, Channel, and Customer referrals.
  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand prospect pain points and needs, and assess whether there is budget, need, and timing for Abnormal's product offerings.
  • Work alongside Sales Engineering, Product, and Founders to demonstrate and communicate Abnormal's value proposition to prospects.
  • Negotiate with legal and procurement on deal terms and pricing, and use internal resources to keep deals moving and get them to close.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to uncover opportunities for up-selling and/or cross-selling of additional products in the future.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct SLED experience prospecting, closing new logos, and growing major accounts against incumbents.
  • Proven performer with consistent over-quota performance and/or top 5% of sales org.
  • Technical competence in security, email, cloud, AI, and other key areas.
  • Cybersecurity software sales experience, including selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel.
  • Start-up experience, with success at a company that was early stage, underdog, or new entrant with large competitors.
  • Ability to hunt, qualify, present, and demonstrate value based on customer pain points.
  • Disciplined approach to sales methodology and time management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
