About the Role

Bose is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial automation and Industry 4.0 projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from project planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans and strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Industrial Automation: Leverage your expertise in industrial automation solutions to streamline manufacturing operations, increase productivity, and ensure seamless integration with Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, team members, executives, and vendors, to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Change Management: Understand the challenges associated with implementing new technologies in a manufacturing plant. Employ change management methodologies and techniques to facilitate smooth technology adoption and overcome resistance.
  • Leadership and Communication: Exhibit excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, motivate project teams, and influence decision-making. Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities to articulate complex concepts and project updates clearly.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Utilize an analytical mindset to identify and solve problems, make sound judgments, and manage project risks effectively. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust project plans as necessary to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and change requests. Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Six Sigma) would be a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager min 5 years, preferably with a focus on industrial automation or Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Skills: Knowledge on data collection and analysis, machine learning algorithms, IoT sensor networks, connectivity protocols, edge computing, and integration of disparate systems. Familiarity with core technologies involved in Industry 4.0, including artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, big data analytics, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and industrial automation.
  • Personal Qualities: Change management skills to navigate the challenges associated with implementing new technologies in a manufacturing plant. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, motivate project teams, and influence decision-making. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex concepts and project updates clearly.
