**Job Summary**

At Polaris Inc., we are committed to driving innovation and excellence in our manufacturing sites. As a key member of our leadership team, the Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in building and developing a strong site leadership team and HR function.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with Plant Director, Managers, and Supervisors to support the execution of business goals and objectives.
  • Maintain visibility and active presence on the plant floor and in plant leadership meetings, providing daily support and communication.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to identify and acquire top talent, ensuring a strong bench of leaders.
  • Collaborate with Corporate HR teams to ensure HR functional excellence in core processes such as compensation and benefits administration, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
  • Administer the Performance Management process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage compensation programs, including salary changes, annual pay structure, and salary budgeting.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, communication, and services, including cafeteria, transportation, and employee services.
  • Own staffing, recruitment, and placement for hourly and salary populations, driving process improvements.
  • Maintain site employee policies and procedures, staying current with HR trends and employment law changes.
  • Lead site employee relations strategy, handling employee concerns, advising on problems, and recommending disciplinary actions.
  • Counsel employees on career development, benefits programs, policies, and other employment-related issues.
  • Lead employee engagement, wellness, and communications initiatives for the manufacturing site.
  • Support the Great Place to Work Strategy and Polaris Production System - Org Design Element.
  • Represent Polaris in the community regarding Human Resources and community relations activities.
  • Develop and manage the site HR team and talent.
  • Manage site HR budget, in partnership with Finance.
  • Engage with unions on site.
