With active operations in Europe, Mexico & Latin America, Brazil, India, MENA, and Africa, Omnicomm caters to diverse industries including logistics & transportation, passenger transportation, mining, construction, car rental & leasing, agriculture, oil & gas, and more. Currently, over 1 million vehicles from various sectors rely on Omnicomm technology, ranging from sea-vessels and heavy trucks to community transport and delivery vehicles.
The Role
As Chief Business Development Officer for Latin America, you will be responsible for driving sales objectives, achieving commercial budget and targets, identifying new sales opportunities, building client relationships, and fostering a high-performing team through mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth in Latin America.
- Bld strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business development decisions.
- Analyze sales performance and implement data-driven initiatives to improve results.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, emailing, and other activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales interactions, customer feedback, and market research.
- Ensure timely recognition and reward for top performers and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Ideal Profile
- You possess at least 5 years of experience within a B2B sales / account executive or inside sales / sales development representative role, preferably in the Mining and Transport & Logistics industry.
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
- You excel in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- You are a skilled networker and relationship builder.
- You are an effective mentor and coach who can build high-performing teams.
- You possess strong analytical skills and comfort dealing with numerical data.
