Regional Sales Manager Opportunity

Siemens Energy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Mexico City. As a key member of our Regional Hubs, you will be responsible for managing sales activities in the allocated region, working on interesting and challenging opportunities in a highly motivated team.

About the Role

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Selling and account management activities
  • Facing-to-face sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions
  • Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations
  • Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
  • Selling directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through channel partners

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A sound Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree
  • Extensive Sales experience (+8 years preferred) with good knowledge in Siemens Energy product and specially in Turbo machineries
  • Sound knowledge of the industries in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean, specifically related to Power Generation, Sugar and Ethanol
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to higher management, public groups, Executive staff, the Management Committee and key client groups
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is necessary; fluency in Portuguese also will be good
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Ability to travel mainly within Latin Americas and some intercontinental travel for up to or exceeding 40%
