The Strategic Rooms Director is responsible for leading the Rooms department at The Westin Santa Fe Mexico City, a Marriott International, Inc property. This role requires a strategic business leader who can develop and implement departmental strategies to meet the brand's standards and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize financial performance.
- Lead a team of direct reports to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and analyze service issues and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the Rooms team to develop an operational strategy aligned with the brand's business strategy.
- Review and audit expenses to ensure cost control and efficiency.
- Coach and support operations team to effectively manage occupancy and rate, wages and controllable expenses.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the customer experience and encourage the same from other employees.
- Review guest feedback with leadership team and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Stay visible and interface with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
