Sales Development Representative

About the Job:
As a Sales Specialist at Schreiber Foods, you will play a key role in driving business growth and achieving sales targets. This is a developmental sales role that requires a strong understanding of sales management processes and the ability to execute them effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to understand programs and policies that meet customer needs.
- Manage customer relationships end-to-end, from sales to order handling and quality or service issues.
- Build internal relationships and gain an understanding of key business processes to effectively communicate and execute to customer expectations.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals to determine viability and fit within our capabilities.
- Utilize negotiation skills to sell towards a price and communicate results through dashboards and metrics.
- Provide timely information to internal departments to meet customer requests.
- Develop product knowledge to ensure a thorough understanding of all product category offerings.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, as well as customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales or a comparable field, with business internship experience.
- Ability to develop customer relationships and create customer value.
- Strong leadership skills and self-starter mentality.
- Highly motivated to achieve financial results and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and travel up to 10%.
- Proficient in English.
