**Job Summary**
Custom Culinary is seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our protein sales team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets aligned with our Long-Range Plan.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with our overall business strategy, analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new sales opportunities and formulate effective sales plans.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to maximize their potential, setting clear sales targets, monitoring performance, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Achieve Annual Operating KPIs: revenue, profitability, and portfolio transformation, monitoring sales performance against targets, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Retention: Trigger portfolio transformation aligned to the LRP and segment strategic posture, analyzing the portfolio and defining the maturity stage of products.
- Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the customer base with new poultry, meat, and seafood processors both locally and abroad.
- Penetration and Innovation: Lead the intentional use of core and new capabilities to deliver innovation, transform the portfolio, and improve profitability.
- Industry and Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities, attending industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to gather market intelligence and identify potential business leads.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Food Engineering (desirable), with an MBA being a plus.
- 10+ years' experience in the Protein segment (meat, poultry, fish, and alternative proteins).
- Fully bilingual (English 100%).
- Travel: 40%.
- BI Tools: CRM, Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel.
