As an Agronomy Sales Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for customers in the vegetable seeds business. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Bayer's portfolio of products and services
- Identify opportunities to promote our products and services to customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies and materials
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field (e.g., Engineering, Administration)
- Experience:
- At least 1.5 years of relevant experience in sales or market development in the agricultural sector (preferably in vegetables)
- Skills:
- Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other software applications relevant to the role
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (50% minimum)
Compensation and Benefits:
Bayer offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
