Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Ge Corporate. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and resolving problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving for IT-related issues and escalations.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including remote assistance and collaboration with other IT teams.
  • Log and manage OEM hardware tickets with vendors, working towards timely resolution.
  • Partner with the Digital Workplace Solutions Premium Experience Team to ensure a smooth introduction of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to analyze and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Ensure compliance with business policies and standards related to client services and IT security.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, using available tools and resources to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, either remotely or through established processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and refresh processes according to the current service desk environment.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical support position.
  • Fluency and literacy in English required.
  • Ability to work in different shift patterns if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operating systems: Windows 7, 10, and MAC OS.
  • Office 365 suite, IDM, Outlook.
  • VPN and basic networking.
  • PC hardware.
  • Effective troubleshooting, problem identification, and solution skills.
