IT Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Ge Corporate. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and resolving problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving for IT-related issues and escalations.
- Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including remote assistance and collaboration with other IT teams.
- Log and manage OEM hardware tickets with vendors, working towards timely resolution.
- Partner with the Digital Workplace Solutions Premium Experience Team to ensure a smooth introduction of new technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to analyze and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Ensure compliance with business policies and standards related to client services and IT security.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, using available tools and resources to resolve issues efficiently.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, either remotely or through established processes.
- Collaborate with the team to create and refresh processes according to the current service desk environment.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical support position.
- Fluency and literacy in English required.
- Ability to work in different shift patterns if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Operating systems: Windows 7, 10, and MAC OS.
- Office 365 suite, IDM, Outlook.
- VPN and basic networking.
- PC hardware.
- Effective troubleshooting, problem identification, and solution skills.

- Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with others to solve problems.
