POSITION SUMMARY

The Channel Account Manager for Datalogic Mexico plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within their designated geographical territory and among selected channel partners.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The ideal candidate will embark on a journey of business development at Datalogic. The Channel Account Manager position is crucial, serving as the central point for enhancing partner productivity and value creation. Individuals in this role must possess an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be adept at creative problem-solving with a keen sense of ownership over outcomes. Effective communication across various departments, including marketing, operations, finance, accounting, and sales, is essential to articulate the business vision and specific requirements for achieving that vision. Success in this role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the market, enabling the identification of key partners and the formulation of a collaborative 3–5-year strategy for mutual growth with Datalogic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Identify, cultivate, and empower strategic partnerships with VARs, ISVs, and Solution Integrators to enhance market presence and revenue in the assigned region.

• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with designated resellers to ensure alignment and effective execution of a long-term growth strategy.

• Develop annual business plans in collaboration with assigned partners and conduct regular progress reviews.

• Collaborate with Partner and Datalogic teams to design tailored technical and sales training programs for partner teams that align with the agreed strategy.

• Recruit, enable, and develop new partners as needed to drive revenue growth and meet corporate or regional strategic goals.

• Regularly manage sales funnel activities within Datalogic's CRM system to track opportunities and business development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in business, economics, marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (fluent).
• Proven success in a channel-based sales model.
• Experience in strategically selling technical solutions.
• Background in managing reseller partnerships, including business plan development, contract execution, and overall partner relationship management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in CRM systems and the MS Office suite.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role is home-based and requires approximately 50% travel within the assigned geographical area, including some overnight trips.

PERFORMANCE METRICS

• Achievement of overall revenue targets

• Maintenance and updates of accounts in Datalogic's CRM system (MS Dynamics)

• In-depth understanding and ongoing learning of the Datalogic product portfolio and relevant industries (retail, transportation & logistics, manufacturing, healthcare)

• Continuous development of assigned partners with a focus on increasing wallet share and market share.

• Alignment with and adherence to Company culture and business practices.
