As a seasoned Vice President at J.P. Morgan, you will be an integral part of a high-performing client-facing team that specializes in payments trends, cash management, and working capital advisory.
The team collaborates closely with clients across various industries to develop tailored solutions aligned with our global Payments strategy.
You will leverage your expertise in cash and liquidity management, in-house banks, centralization structures, and post-merger integration to craft customized solutions for clients from diverse sectors, including technology, media, telecoms, consumer & retail, and diversified industries.
This role is based in Mexico City and reports directly to the Head of Treasury & Payments Advisory for Latin America.
Job Responsibilities- You will consult with clients to structure strategic solutions that support their objectives by integrating best-in-class practices across cash, liquidity management, and foreign exchange.
- You will advise senior decision-makers on treasury efficiency, platform modernization, and positioning treasury & payments at the forefront of business model shifts.
- You will partner with product specialists to design client propositions and embed clients' needs in the product development and piloting process.
- You will contribute to deal flow through joint client pitching and referrals.
- You will expand thought leadership on modern challenges and priorities of senior treasurers and payments leaders, including ESG considerations and AI applications in treasury and payments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- You should have 5+ years of experience in cash management, working capital, liquidity, foreign exchange, and merchant acquiring gained through a transaction banking career or corporate treasury.
- You should have experience advising or working within large corporate / MNC treasury and relevant buying centers, demonstrating knowledge of how treasury & payments evolve to support shifting business and operational needs.
- You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
