Overview
As a seasoned professional in the protein industry, we are seeking a skilled Sales Director to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for our protein processing clients. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with our business strategy, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to maximize their potential and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to achieve Annual Operating KPIs, including revenue, profitability, and portfolio transformation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand our customer base.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, attending industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to gather market intelligence and identify potential business leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years' experience in the protein segment, including ingredient experience.
- Fully bilingual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
