We are looking for an experienced Strategic Account Development Manager to join our team in Guadalajara.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with a proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with key clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow existing accounts. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

Your main activities will include:

  • Visiting strategic and potential customers to identify opportunities and develop project proposals
  • Selling Omron's portfolio of automation products within existing accounts
  • Supporting customers in the development of new projects involving PLCs, safety systems, vision systems, robots, and services platforms
  • Attracting new target accounts based on specifications using automation products
  • Guiding customers on how to increase machine safety standards

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Control & Automation or equivalent
  • 4-5 years of experience in selling control and automation projects to end-users
  • Ability to select the right equipment for customer needs
  • Strong problem-solving and frustration management skills
  • Desire to learn and support team results

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of proactivity, understanding of commercial needs, and a willingness to travel regularly (60-70% of the time).

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
