Director of Business Development for LATAM Banking

Galileo is a financial technology company that provides innovative software products and services to power Fintechs and financial institutions. We are seeking a strategic thinker to drive the sales of banking solutions within the Latin American region.

The Role:

The Director of Business Development for LATAM Banking Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy for the LATAM region. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and leading negotiations to secure profitable deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy for the LATAM region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key banking clients and partners in the LATAM region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking sector.
  • Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients.
  • Mentor and lead a team of business development professionals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Experience working in fintech or digital banking environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the banking industry in LATAM.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
