LATAM Banking Sales Director

Galileo is a financial technology company that provides innovative software products and services to power Fintechs and financial institutions. We are seeking a strategic thinker to drive the sales of banking solutions within the Latin American region.
The Role:
The Director of Business Development for LATAM Banking Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy for the LATAM region. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and leading negotiations to secure profitable deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a business development strategy for the LATAM region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key banking clients and partners in the LATAM region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking sector.
- Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients.
- Mentor and lead a team of business development professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
- Experience working in fintech or digital banking environments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the banking industry in LATAM.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
