Water Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a Water Sales Development Representative to join our team in Mexico.
This role is responsible for building strong relationships with customers, visiting clients face-to-face, specifying solutions, conducting demo sessions, and maintaining and increasing sales of existing accounts in the region. The ideal candidate will establish themselves as a valued partner with customers.
Effective communication of the true value of our products and services is crucial in our commercial business. Our sales professionals develop deep and meaningful relationships, offering solutions to meet our customers' unique needs.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Translate customer needs into diagnostic solutions through consultative selling techniques
• Position the overall IDEXX added value for setting up longer-term partnerships and increased customer experience
• Build customer trust and loyalty, ensuring mutual growth
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within an expense budget
• Leveraging other sales channels to maximize sales and customer service franchise objectives
• Developing and supporting sales processes to improve productivity and ensure that goals are met
• Analyzing the characteristics and trends of the local market and helping define customer needs for new or modified products and services
• Expanding the customer base and establishing long-term relationships on various levels
• Collaborating cross-functionally across the organization to ensure a great customer experience
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with targets and has a resilient mindset
• Is customer-oriented, a good listener, and can build rapport quickly
• Has outstanding communication skills across several stakeholders
• Is a qualified Biologist, Food Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Biotechnology Engineer, Chemist, or Microbiologist
• Ideally, has several years of successful territory management experience, thinks strategically, is self-motivated, and takes ownership of their role
