About Your Role:

You will be working within Redwood Multimodal, one of our business units, where you will play a crucial role in identifying, sourcing, and developing strong business relationships with service providers to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand knowledge of the transportation industry within carrier sales and Redwood operations
  • Build and maintain new and current strategic carrier profiles through research and networking
  • Actively engage carrier partners primarily by phone, targeting 80+ dials per day
  • Negotiate freight rates to motor carriers in an effort to maximize profitability
  • Coordinate available customer freight with available motor carrier equipment
  • Provide service and support to motor carriers in an effort to build the business relationship
  • Resolve issues timely when needed and track and monitor shipments to proactively address any issues or delays during transit

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, proficient level for verbal and written communication
  • 1-2 years of business experience in a bilingual environment
  • Excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Results-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and flexible
