**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our team. As a Service Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, and networks following clearly defined standard operating procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Installs and configures computer hardware, software, systems, and networks following clearly defined standard operating procedures
• Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks
• Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Provides technical support across the company (in person or over the phone) with clearly defined standard operating procedures
• Sets up accounts for new users
• Repairs and replaces equipment as necessary
• Tests new technology
• Administers and maintains security of operating systems
• Restores files or systems by designing, writing, and implementing back-up procedures with clearly defined standard operating procedures
**Requirements:**
• Associate degree in Computer Science with a strong interest in and affinity to Information Technology
• Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
