PGT Trucking, Inc. is a reputable transportation firm offering specialized services in the steel, building materials, oil & gas, and automotive industries. Our company was founded on the principles of superior flatbed transportation services and personal relationships.

The Business Development Manager will be part of the broader Business Development Team, responsible for customer acquisition and retention through effective account management activities. Key responsibilities include prospecting, networking, attending industry events, quoting projects, and all related sales process functions.

The position is based in PGT's Laredo TX terminal/Monterrey Mexico office.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with current and potential customers to ensure continued success of the Company's overall sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify, develop, and expand revenue opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Identify and promote the development of new geographical markets and business segments.
  • Work collaboratively between partners and Company sales & operations team to drive opportunity generation and provide support services as necessary.
  • Analyze industry trends and their impact to PGT's strategy and operational capability.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful documented sales experience in an industrial setting.
  • Transportation/Logistics experience a plus.
  • Up to 75% travel.
