We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Business Development organization, you will play a critical role in driving growth for our sellers by identifying, acquiring, and managing strategic key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the executive teams of prospective accounts.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment, including knowledge of competitive product offerings.
  • Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
  • Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.
  • Analyze customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of the assigned category.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective categories.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.

A Day in the Life:

As a Business Development Manager at Amazon, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of merchants and develop a deep understanding of their needs and goals. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key decision-makers, developing and executing business strategies, and analyzing customer data to inform your decisions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales, marketing, consulting, engineering, or digital advertising and/or client-facing roles experience.
  • Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
